The Spark of Inspiration
Every collection begins with a vision - a story or a set of images that captures emotion, place, and a sense of artistry. Paradisa Tropica was created as an escape from everyday life, a moment that takes you somewhere warmer, brighter, and more alive. It draws on the feeling of being surrounded by nature: the colours of tropical fruit, the calm of a mountain walk, or even that first sip of a cocktail on holiday. When you look at the dial, you’re meant to feel that little shift - a reminder of beauty, colour, and creativity, all captured in a single glance.
Sketching the Story
Once a theme is defined, our design team brings the vision to life through sketches. Each concept is meticulously drawn and refined over several weeks, capturing the perfect balance of character and composition. Every line tells a story - of time, place and imagination.
Colour, Form, and Emotion
The sketches evolve into full illustrations, where colour palettes and tone come alive. Our artists refine each hue and silhouette, ensuring every detail embodies the collection’s theme. These compositions become the visual heartbeat of the dial - bold yet timeless, expressive yet precise.
Inspiration Behind the Case
The case design started from something simple and personal - an octagonal diamond ring that sparked the idea for a shape that felt strong, elegant, and different from anything else on the market.
That octagonal form became the starting point for our case silhouette.
Adding some Sparkle
To bring more depth and life to the watch, we added a raised bevel to the sapphire crystal. It’s a small detail, but it makes a big difference: the edge catches the light as you move, giving the watch a subtle shine — almost like the sparkle you see on a cut stone.
Nothing about the design is accidental. The shape, the angles, the way the crystal sits — it all comes from wanting the watch to feel like a piece of jewellery as much as a timepiece.
